So its been like five years since I’ve written anything on my blog. Five years phew!! thats huge. I’ve been really busy with life and other responsibilities like most of us here are, you know Job, Marriage and a Baby. Life’s little perks that one should always be thankful for but unlike most artists who forget to create because of other priorities that they have, I was always creating art. In all these years there hasn’t been a moment when I wasn’t practicing art. I touched the chords of music, voiced over for TV commercials and several artists across the globe, sitting in-front of a Mic in a sound proof cubical I learned patience and an art I never knew I was capable of doing, I hung a camera around my neck trying to film and capture and find inspiration, I wrote hundreds of manuscripts wanting to believe that I had it in me what it takes to be a writer, I designed dresses and costumes out of fabric I suppose something that people call ”Fashion”. I learnt to use the modern palette and a paintbrush a Vacom tablet and a digital pen and mastered the skill, I learnt to make sculptures on computer without getting my hands all muddy. I made characters on paper and than brought them to life and made them perform in front of thousands of people in a theater.
I never left my studio empty even if all I could come up with was a painting of a garden for my living room . Sometimes I would keep staring at the walls for hours trying to think of ideas, I’d close my eyes and drown in the world of imagination and wakeup only to realize that I was “thinking art” now you’d say really ? thinking art? do sane people do that? yes they do if they’re artists because Art is the only thing that keeps you sane in this insane world. I did all I could to keep it living inside me in whatever ways possible in whatever medium I got a chance to take a shot at, because I don’t believe in bounding yourself to a single medium. I believe an artist should be versatile He/She must embrace every form of art he/she should have within all the colors of the rainbow, just to blend in correctly. To create a perfect image.
Today after these wonderful years when I look at myself I see a multi talented artist who can create art in any form, in any medium. Yes Sir, I am all set to make lots and lots of art and surely I will be posting it all here for you my friends but before I begin let me say my three magical words, ready steady anddd stART.
